SPONSOR A CHILD: CHOIR BURSARY - £250
2025-26 SEASON
Barnsley Youth Choir works hard to keep subscriptions low for children, and is able to do this because of the support of sponsors and partners. However, the cost-of-living crisis is presenting lower income families with challenges and some parents are now struggling to meet the cost of their child being involved. BYC is committed to removing barriers to participation, and offers bursaries to those who are struggling. The number of bursaries needed has increased significantly this last year, placing pressure on the choir and its viability. This support will provide a child who faces significant hardship with a bursary that includes subscriptions for a full year, uniform costs for a full year and the cost of local trips and events. It could mean the difference between the child taking part or not, and your support could be genuinely life-changing for that child. In return for your support, we will publicise your organisation / name on our website and social media to thank you, and invite you to a special evening where you can watch a rehearsal behind the scenes.
