Joining the Choir

We are keen to involve as many youngsters as possible with real potential and nurture their talent into something they can be really proud of. We know that joining a new group of people can be scary but we will do everything we can to help everyone feel comfortable.
Anyone joining the choir initially joins the Training Choir. The Training Choir has been established as the first group for all new choir members. It is anticipated that all new members will spend a short time in this choir getting used to the techniques and routines of the groups at their own speed. Being a relatively small group these new members can be given the welcome and support they may need to make them feel comfortable and to bring them to a standard where they can easily fit in to the choir they move to. The musical directors will assess progress and when they feel a member is ready then they will be moved to the appropriate choir
